Dervish Coat - "Geometrical From"
Dervish Coat - "Geometrical From"
ART INSPIRATION
"Divine proportions and patterns are found in nature in geometrical form. The word Geometry in Greek is derived from “Geo” meaning “Earth”, and “Metron” meaning “to measure”, or “Earthly measurements”. In Greek mythology it was believed a Divine Order exists in the natural world, the basis and substance of life. Everything in nature, from the smallest atom and seeds of creation, to the galaxies of space, the vast infinite universe of the cosmos, share similar structures and patterns. The geometrical patterns have ben applied in glod leaf by hand."

THE CUT
The asymmetrical hemline of the Dervish coat is cut to revive the circular movement of the coat of a dancing Dervish while in motion of the meditative ritual dance. This cut has soft regal shoulders, is comfortably oversized and can be worn as a layering piece.
Please note: Some lookbook images and videos only show the cut, not the individual design. For individual design, please refer to the top of the product gallery.
